Bridging the Gap: Why Amachara, Azaraegbelu?
Choosing a specific local community like Amachara, Azaraegbelu in Owerri North LGA ensures that our efforts are focused and deliver maximum impact. Widows and the less privileged in many rural Nigerian communities often face compounded challenges, including economic hardship, limited access to resources, and social vulnerability, especially after the loss of a spouse.
The Mary Nwamadi Foundation believes that the Christmas season, a time meant for joy and family, should not be a period of distress. By supporting a minimum of 50 women, we are not just handing out items; we are validating their worth, easing their financial burden as the year closes, and sending a powerful message that they are not forgotten. This outreach is a lifeline that helps them secure basic needs and restores their sense of dignity for the new year ahead.
This charity event will be hosted by Miss Merlynn Kleberg from St. Martin who also happens to be married to the Founder of The Mary Nwamadi Foundation, Vincent Ifukor.
